Frequently asked
Why is my 3D print stringing?
Molten filament oozes across gaps during travel. Tune retraction, drop nozzle temp 5–10°C, raise travel speed, enable combing, and dry the filament — wet PETG/TPU string badly.
Why is my print warping at the corners?
Uneven cooling shrinks the part off the bed. Use a heated bed, a brim/raft, no part-cooling on early layers, and an enclosure for ABS/ASA.
Why won't my first layer stick?
Usually nozzle too high, a dirty/un-level bed, or first layer too fast/cool. Re-level, clean the bed, lower first-layer Z, slow it down, add a brim.
Why is my print under-extruding?
Partial clog, wrong flow/e-steps, too-low temp or too-high speed, or a worn nozzle. Clean/replace the nozzle, calibrate flow, raise temp, slow down.
