Description
Description This steel lattice mast is the model of the mast erected in 1896/97 for the Bernburg power plant. It is suitable for overhead power lines (electricity supply) or tramway overhead wires. Text of the information plaque: This steel lattice mast served the power supply from 1897 to 1998. From 1897 to 1921 it also carried the overhead line of the Bernburg tramway. After the decommissioning of the overhead line network in 1998, the municipal utility company Stadtwerke Bernburg GmbH tried to preserve this reminder of the historic power supply infrastructure of the city of Bernburg. Scale and Scaling The STL file is provided in scale 1/100. Scale Use / application Scaling factor (in %) Factor (decimal) 1/35 Military (tanks, figures) 285.71 % 2.8571 1/72 Military (aircraft, vehicles) 138.89 % 1.3889 1/87 H0 (railway) 114.94 % 1.1494 1/120 TT (railway) 83.33 % 0.8333 Printing Instructions I decided to rotate it by 23 degrees on the Z-axis and provided with several light support structures. After printing, it is recommended to wash the mast only briefly and then allow it to dry sufficiently. The fine struts tend to warp in alcohol; allowing them to dry freely usually lets them straighten out by themselves. Variants Based on the original design of the actual situation without insulators, variant (a) was created with 6 insulators, a variant (b) was created based on a postcard showing the Saalplatz around 1900, featuring only one support arm for four insulators. Another design variant (c) carries eight insulators.
