Description

Designed for 10" rack systems, this is a 12-port ethernet patch panel. Prints okay in rPLA without supports, but the keystones fit a lot more snugly if supports are enabled. I printed it with supports enabled and with the front of the panel facing the bed - it will likely be easier to remove supports from the ears of the panel than from inside the keystones, so if you have trouble with removing supports, consider that alternative orientation. 15% Gyroid infill seems to work, but I might add a few extra solid layers at the front of the panel for extra stiffness. OpenSCAD code included, version-controlled link coming soon. I could not get more than 12 keystones to fit within the space on my rack - take measurements of yours before printing. The inner distance between rack rails needs to allow the main beam of this panel to pass through. I originally purchased https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D5XPNHHF and it did not fit my rack - seems like it only fits the DeskPi for which it was designed. I had already taken a file to the part before I realized that the bolt holes also do not line up with a normal 10" rack, so I could not return it and didn't want to just throw out all the Cat6 keystones that came with it - so I made them fit in this panel instead. It appears that the keystones can be purchased separate from their bracket here: https://www.amazon.com/GeeekPi-12-Pack-Keystone-Ethernet-Multicolor/dp/B0F65YSP3C
