Description
bought one of these on ebay for $34. didn't realize it was 3D printed. seller refused to cancel the order. so I designed my own from scratch and I'm open sourcing it. I used PLA+ for this, but you could use other filaments. petg may be too brittle. print it with the flat side of the cylinder down, like in the photograph. the fit on the acme screw is tight, but it will wear in a bit with use. note, make sure your saw tilts easily to keep the stress on the nut down. print with 4 perimeters, 8 top and bottom layers, and at least 50% infill. attribution: I used the acme screw here to cut the threads: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2043511
