Description

After seeing how expensive some skid plates were for 1st gen Sequoias and Tundras, I decided to make my own for my own use case. These are open source and made in SolidWorks 2024. They are measurements off of my specific vehicle, a 2001 Sequoia 4x4 SR5 with a coastal offroad front bumper, and I intend to make no money off of this. I do not authorize others to use these parts for commercial purposes, please only make for personal use. My only valid form of compensation is beer and/or money for beer. Please just enjoy these and go beat the crap out of your 1st gen. If I catch you selling these I will send a hellfire missile into your front door. As of now this is a 3 piece assembly, with a 2-piece front skid plate, an oil pan skid plate. There is also a single piece version of the front skid as well, but I turned it into a 2 piece so you could make it with 24x48" stock. You will also need some hardware too, a moderate grade is probably okay, I plan on using 8.8 since they sell it by the pound at my local hardware store. Made from 3/16" steel. Manufacturing pictures and install to follow. FAQ: Q: Will this fit other years of Sequoias? A: I have no idea Q: Will this fit a Tundra? A: I have no idea Q: Will this fit 2wd versions? A: I have no idea Q: Can I make this out of aluminum? A: I have no idea Q: What tools do I need to make this at home? A: I have no idea Q: I need just a small change, can you modify your file for me? A: If you buy me a 30 rack I will think about it Q: What should I have for dinner tonight? A: Carbonara is a solid, easy recipe if you have heavy cream (or even just milk tbh) in your fridge and really any kind of meat.
