Description
I had been looking for a good scrap bin to put on the side of my Ender 3 V2, when I realized I could adapt the Gridfinity system to fit on 2020 extrusion. Similar ideas have been done before, but I tried to make this a well rounded solution. You can put it on any printer that uses 2020 extrusion, and it can fit M4 and M3 screws/nuts. T-nuts are required to secure it. The magnet holes are ⌀6.1mm. The cutout on the bins allows space for the Z-endstop switch on old Enders. The baseplates fit on top, parallel to the extrusion rather than on its side (a feature present on one of the original Gridfinity models), but it also has offset holes to sit flush against the extrusion, and a beveled edge so it doesn't interfere with anything on the other side of the extrusion.
