243 ammo box

The box in these images was printed in eSun black and yellow PETG, the inserts in Prusament PETG (one chalky blue and the other pistachio green) and the optional seal was eSun grey TPU95. I printed using fuzzy skin which extends the print time hugely, but I do like the result. The fuzzy skin settings I used were 0.2/0.2mm on the box & latches, with 0.3/0.3mm on the lid. I painted it on the outside only, excluding the surfaces that face latches or hinges. I used a textured build plate which made it look like the effect continued to the top and bottom Print the insert is printed without fuzzy skin for best fit. I used black hex M3 screws for the latches and hinges. Since the blue insert I printed was quite a tight fit (but still removable with effort) the provided file is 0.5mm shorter in X & Y dimensions to allow easier removal, which tested in the green print. The insert has a bottom, so can be removed with contents in place.
