3D Game Pieces

These game pieces have added grips to make it easier for individuals to grasp the material with the use of less fine motor skills. All of the game pieces had to be about 6 inches tall, so I made the base relevant to the size of the character on top. I subtracted the character’s height (when 2 inches wide on its longest side) from 6, and that was the base height. The diameter of the cylinder base was 2 inches for all pieces. Some characters had additional items such as feet at the base, which I just made proportional to the overall look of the piece. I moved the feet halfway into the base so they were secured well. I ran into a problem with the cow piece after printing, where it was not securely on the top. I had to go back into TinkerCad to move the figure down onto the base so that it did not break off as easily. After reprinting, the adjustments were successful.
