Description
I wanted to try to put some flaps on the SpacePi x4's exhaust fans to reduce the amount of time the fans are on and to reduce the fan noise as well. I really liked @MandicReally design and simplicity so I remixed to be taped at the back of the X4 I'm including 2 versions, one with holes on the frame and one without. I haven't tested the frame and flaps on an actual fan, positions might be off. I used the version without holes, put some 3M HBT double sided tape and stuck it on the back of the x4. After more than a week the frame is still solid on the x4 and I have noticed, on the side I used it on, the dehumidifier cycle runs less frequently. I printed it in ASA, but polycarbonate or aramide fillaments should do to. I'd recommend PETG only if you're drying up to 55C.
