Description
I don't recommend using this long-term but it works well enough as a stopgap until a more solid Dobsonian base can be made. The Amazon Basics tripod is tough to move, imprecise, and sways way more than a solid base would. I recommend printing with sturdy material. I used PLA+ at 50% infill but you may wish to use something stronger with higher infill. Designed in F360.
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical mount designed for attaching a telescope to a tripod. It features a rectangular base with a central slot and four circular mounting points for screws, allowing it to securely hold the telescope in place. The mount is constructed from durable plastic and includes a level indicator for stability during use.
