5/45RFE Transmission Valve Body Accumulator Piston Install Tool

When using the Sonnax 44894-01MK or other, similar, knockoff, aftermarket accumulator piston kit, with 3 sealing rings, the center ring is not a split ring. The center ring, being continuous, requires a mild stretch to install into the corresponding groove, and then a prefit compress to size the Teflon ring into the groove, when installing the piston into the valve body bore. The problem with not having a resizing tool is the risk of inserting the piston, and scraping the Teflon ring out of the groove, ruining the ring. This Thing's purpose is to aid sizing the ring into the groove during install. The internal bore is a slight taper. The exit hole matches the valve body piston bore. Hence, as the piston is slid through this tool, the ring compressed properly into the ring grove, and the exit hole size maintains the ring compression while the piston is entering the valve body piston bore. This model is designed using Cubify Design (now called Alibre Design). It is printed using PLA.
