5th Gen Toyota 4Runner Cubby Phone Holder

This phone holder is designed to fit in the small cubby located in front of the driver cupholder in a 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner. The goal was to create a simple mount that keeps your phone accessible while driving without blocking the cupholders. The back of the phone holder is intentionally open to allow MagSafe accessories such as wallets or battery packs to remain attached when placing the phone in the mount. Current Design Features included in this design: Phone holder Mount designed to fit the factory cubby location Open back for MagSafe compatibility Fitment in the cubby works fairly well but the design could definitely use refinement. Known Issues This design is not perfect yet and I am sharing it early so others can help improve it. Current issues include: Base may tilt forward depending on phone weight Phone holder can loosen at the pivot Overtightening the screw can break the mount Overall stability could be improved Remix Encouraged If you improve the design please upload your remix and link back to this model so others can benefit.
