Description
Frames for cutting A4 paper (21cm x 28.7cm, or 8,3 x 11.7 inches) into pentagon and hexagon shapes, useful for particular types of origami. It is composed of 3 frames, one to obtain rectangles with the correct ratio, and one for each shape to cut the angled sides (see the attached drawing). The frame keeps the paper sheet steady while you cut it with a paper cutter following the slids in the model. The corners of the frame are open, so that you can better align the sheet inside the frame. The pentagon cutter might be too wide (25.1 cm) to be printed on 3D printer. You can instead print the 2 parts of the frames separately and then attach them by closing the gaps of the joints with a 3D pen (or you just leave them separated, being a bit careful when you close the frame onto a piece of paper). You can also use the rectangle cutter to cut squares of 7.62cm and 5.45cm from the excess paper
