AAP-01 Carbine Kit

The Dilemma (Quick story) I built my AAP01 for indoor use, unfortunately with no more indoor fields in my city, it was two options; either sell the AAP-01, or see if I can modify it for outdoor use. (check the last photo for what it looked like fully custom built for indoor). The Handguard I found a couple really good designs by some other creators (linked one of them, the other doesn't allow) before seeing if I should design my own. I found one that I liked that had really nice handguards. The creator allowed for different lengthes to help decide what kind of setup you wanted. I plan on extending my handguard as I'll be getting a longer inner barrel, but for now I have it set on the shorter setup to suit the current build of the pistol. They also offer an extended outter barrel so your inner barrel is protected, and it threads onto the original AAP-01 barrel. The Stock Unfortunately this user's stock was not 3D printed, so I still needed another file to find and make a decent stock, at first I found one that just slid into the bottom of the grip. I thought that was perfect until it impeded my HPA adapter to M4 Magazines, so back to square one. Then I found this one that turns your AAP-01 into a Kryss Vector(Linked below) which was neat, but all I wanted was the stock to be able to use my HPA adapter. After printing it all, the stock still didn't allow the HPA adapter to be in the gun without some extreme force(not good). Considering I liked the style of the stock and the way it was designed(props to the original creator) I decided to re-design a couple parts of just the Stock Bridge. Putting it together After a couple attempts of redesigning the Stock Bridge and ensure the fit was snug enough for support but loose enough to slide the HPA adapter in with ease, I was happy with the result and therefore are posting it as a remix. All credit goes towards the original creators, I only made some adjustments for the HPA setup but the overall design is still theirs! Assembly Okay, here's what you need to have in order to build this Carbine Kit and the things I've learned while trial and erroring the setup. Parts: 4x M3x12 - Connect the Handguard to the Receiver cover (can use M3x16 as well, M3x10 will be too short for the upper two holes, lower 2 will be fine.) 4x M3x8 - Connects the Receiver cover and the top 2 bolts for the Stock Bridge (Blue Locktight the front Stock Bridge bolt as it will have to sit slightly loose so the Blowback Housing doesn't stick. See Photo) 1x M4x10 - Connects the Lower part of the Stock Bridge into the Grip. 1x M5x10 - Connect the Charging Handle to the Blowback Housing (I suggest adding a washer to this so it does not interfier with the Selector Switch and stays tight.) 2x M4x16 - Connect the Stock to the Stock Bridge (use M4 Nuts to hold and secure into place.) What I've learned If the Blowback housing is sticking after firing, the front Stock Bridge bolt (the one that was lock tighted) needs to be loosened until the Blowback housing(BBH) moves freely. Leave the BBH in the extended position and gradually loosen the Stock Bridge bolt until the BBH moves freely. I suggest leaving the rear Stock Bridge bolt removed until this is fine tuned, once it is, add in the rear Stock Bridge bolt and tighten until snug. If the BBH gets stuck again, gradually loosen until freely moving. The handguard and any barrel extensions needs to be installed onto the AAP-01 before adding a tracer unit or any other type of muzzle attachement as the handguard does not fit over the wider muzzle.
