Description
Remix Description: Added small ridges on bearing pin to create a tighter fit with ø8mm bearings. This ensures the bearing actually rolls on its internal ball bearings, rather than just freely spin around the pin. Also re-oriented the STL to be flat on the bed. The other half of the model, “Carriage-L_Fixed” remains as-is. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Due to variable manufacturer tolerances in bearings, please print a test before running a whole batch! Many thanks to @cmyk_3298375 for the original re-mix! PETG Recommended for pin deformation and high-temp environment (if using the Polydryer mod for these dryboxes). Assembly: Place the bearing on “Carriage-L_Fixed”/"female" half of the bearing holder. Push the pin and the main body of the “Carriage-R_Fixed_Tight Pin Remix”/"male" half of the bearing holder into the bearing and female bearing holder half. NOTE: the center pin's ridges will deform as you push it into the bearing, ensuring a tight fit. Place flat on table and push hard, and/or use pliers to fully seat the two halves together for a tight fit. Verify that the bearing spins freely and does not rub against the walls of the holder. Happy printing! 😉 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media
