Description
This remix adds two practical upgrades to the excellent Adjustable PCB Holder Tool : Raised feet — keep the holder clear of the microscope’s base so boards sit level and you can rotate/clamp without interference. Modular stand extension — stackable spacers for the microscope column to gain extra working distance under the lens. The microscope in the photos is the common 4.3" LCD digital microscope (sold under many brands). The extension fits the stock column and collar; use as many segments as you need. Printing & assembly Feet: print solid enough for bench use (e.g., 3–4 perimeters, 25–35% infill). No supports needed. Extension parts: print upright for strength; light cleanup only. Hardware: reuse the screws you have on the holder, or small self-tappers (Ø3–4 mm) for the feet. Stack the extension segments between the base collar and the vertical tube, then tighten the collar. Works great for soldering, inspection, and photography when you need a bit more height and clearance.
AI Analysis: This object is a mechanical device designed for holding and stabilizing electronic components, particularly circuit boards (PCBs), during soldering and inspection processes. It features adjustable feet to provide stability and a modular extension for mounting a microscope, which allows for detailed examination of PCBs. The device includes a built-in LCD screen displaying a schematic diagram, likely for monitoring or instructional purposes.
