Description

Note (200 mm Fan): As per request, there is now also a 200 mm Version with a Base (tested by another user, should be okay). This one is specially for the NOCTUA NF-A20 (mounting holes). Other 200 mm may or may not work. You need M3 x 16 mm Screws for the base, instead of M3 x 8 mm. This print barely fits a 254 x 254 bed. For this Version (200 mm) there is also a two-part base for smaller print beds. Press the two parts together and use a little super glue. Note (120 mm Fan): As per request, there is now also a 120 mm Version with a Base (untested, but should be okay. Please tell me if it works). Orignal 140 mm Version: This version of the Noctua NV-AA1 airflow amplifier has been adapted so that it fits on a larger Noctua NF-A14 140 mm fan. It may fit other 140 mm fans as well (untested). Spacing and hole size have been adapted to the larger 140 mm fan. Brackets have also been attached to the side of the amplifier to which the base can be screwed on to. I don't know whether the NF-A14 140 mm is well suited, but I find the airflow absolutely sufficient when used as a table fan. You can seal the area where the fan lies on the amplifier with some insulating tape, this will improve the air flow a liiiittle - but i dont find it necessary. Non printed materials (same for 140 and 120 mm Version): To screw on the base you need 2x M3 threaded inserts and two M3x8mm (head cap) screws. And ofc 4 screws of your choice to mount the fan onto the amplifier. Electronics: The NF-A14 is a PWM Fan. For connecting to a 12V Power Source you just need the yellow (+12V) and black cable (Gnd) of the fan. Cut the remaining cables, as they are not needed in this case. For this Fan, you also need a 12V Power Source. Idk if it spins up at 5V. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Print: No supports needed for the base. It will print fine, even if the slicer tells you otherwise. I printed everything in ABS - but PLA, PETG…you name it, will be fine too.
AI Analysis: This object is a mechanical fan designed for airflow amplification, featuring a base that supports its structure. It is intended for use in environments requiring enhanced ventilation, such as computer setups or indoor spaces. The fan's design includes a sleek black exterior and a sturdy base, making it suitable for both functional and decorative purposes.
