Description
I made this A300 butt-stock for my KWA airsoft M4. I designed it in the collapsed configuration. One because it’s much easier to shoulder, and two because it allows for a larger battery compartment. There are two versions. V1 is without the sling QD recess, but there is a small dimple if you wish to drill and add your own sling swivel mount. V2 is designed for the Magpul type 2 QD cup. You will need a 10-24 screw to secure it from the inside, or you can just glue it in place. The stock fits over the buffer tube and castle nut. There is room inside the stock for a battery. You will need a piece of 30mm tube to go between the buttpad and the battery compartment. This is to make it stronger. The fit is intentionally “tight” so some filing will be necessary. This is so everything fits snug and there’s no slop. You will also need 8 M3 screws. I have included “dimples” and recesses in the STL so it’s easier to drill in the right spot. 4 are for esthetic in the slots on each side of the battery compartment. 2 of the M3 screws go near the front of the stock, to actually secure it against the buffer tube on each side. The last 2 M3 screws go on the buttpad to secure it to the 30mm section of tube. I glued the the 30mm tube to the front battery compartment section. Then the buttpad slips onto the 30mm and is secured to it via the M3 screws. This will hopefully all make sense once you have everything together. If not, please feel free to contact me, and I will try to explain it better.
