Description
I wanted an enclosure with some adjustment, so I remixed another one I found. I desolder the pins from the AM312 PIR and replace them with a 3 pin JST XH socket, install the sensor in the enclosure and hot glue the back pivot cover on. Then I install the rear mount with tiny wood screws and use a 3 or 4mm allen screw with washer and nut through the pivot hole. Install the matching female JST XH connector on a 3 wire cable to mount the sensor remotely from your controller. It works reasonably well. Don't judge me too hard on the peeling paint on the cabinet. It's on a long list of things we are working on in this poor old fixer-upper house. Printed in petg. Split the file into objects and place the top of the enclosure face down to reduce supports. I sliced in Creality slicer using supports and changed the z axis support interface from 0.2mm to 0.1mm to reduce the stringiness over the supports and make the holes more accurate. It's tougher to remove supports but the part comes out better.
