Animated Spider Box.

This is a fun project guaranteed to scare the pants off anyone who, like me, is scared of Spiders. The excellent Black Widow Spider is from here; https://www.printables.com/model/10660-black-widow-spider/files I made a box, lid and floor and as the project was work in progress I drilled the necessary holes as required. Firstly I made a spindle from some brass tubing with the use of a ‘dermal’ with diamond cutting disc cut to length and bent the tubing end to grip a mobile phone vibrator (readily available on the popular auction site). I drilled a hole into the underside of the Spider and with hot melt glue fitted the spindle to the Spider. The tip of the hot melt gun was used to soften the Spider legs so they could be bent to shape (one at a time). I connected two batteries and a push button switch in series with the phone vibrator which was in turn press fitted into the spindle after it had been fed through the floor. That’s about it really. When the push button is operated the Spider vibrates around and makes a satisfying noise guaranteed to scare.
