Description
Version of the well-known DL6WU Uda-yagi antenna, adapted to the frequency of 869 Mhz, for use in meshtastic ( https://meshtastic.org/ ) /meshcore ( https://meshcore.nz/ ) networks . The estimated gain coefficient is 11-12 db. A fiberglass rod with a diameter of 10 mm was used as the base for the boom. The design can be adapted to 3, 5, 7 or 9 elements. Further increase in the number of elements does not make sense due to the minimal effect, loss of rigidity and high wind loads. Acrylic varnish is used to glue the elements together. Epoxy or photopolymer resin can be used. The preliminary calculation of the antenna was performed in the 3g-aerial online calculator ( https://3g-aerial.biz/onlajn-raschety/raschety-antenn/raschet-antenny-uda-yagi-dl6wu ). The final optimization of the antenna was performed in the MMANA-GAL-basic program Materials : Filament material: PETG or ASA (White color is preferred) Active and passive elements for reflector , vibrator and directors : 4mm brass tube Cable : couppre RG-58a/u a diameter of 5mm Metal ware : Screw M5x70 (or 75) мм -1 pcs Washer M5x15 - 1 pcs Self-locking nut M5 -1 pcs tucker pop rivet M5 -1 pcs
