Description
After building the Ikea Lack enclosure for my MK3 and adding schuetzi99's Anti Vibration Feet ( https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/1727-anti-vibration-feet-for-prusa-i3-mk3s ), I still noticed some disturbing noise, especially during fast movements of the y-axis. I designed this simple Squash Ball Holder (based on the general idea of Mike's Simple Squash Ball damper https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/13720-simple-squash-ball-damper ) for the feet on the lower table. I use "double yellow," so very slow and soft for the squash balls, like these: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B004E8N2LS/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_KLJDFb156GE7G . The feet did the trick for me. The printer is now virtually unnoticeable, and the table is still sufficiently stable overall. Print instructions Printed in Prusa PETG, 0,2mm quality setting.
