Description

A small tray to go below the heat bed, to catch purge from the hot end. The tray has some kind of studs below that go into the aluminium extrusion profile cross beam. There is enough distance to the rollers that move the heat bed, and you can bring in the studs from the top – you do not need to slide them into the profile from the side. So you can just put it in and remove it easily for cleaning. Update for Kobra 2 Neo: The original Tray for Kobra Neo does not fit into Kobra 2 Neo Model because of an additional sensor. I was made aware of this by @MalcolmBridg_1797745 , who also provided me with some infos. Therefore there is now a specific model including the changes suggested by @MalcolmBridg_1797745 , which should work for you! Additionally there is an experimental change, that could work from the photos I have seen, but could not be verified to work yet ( YOU may be the first!). Kobra 2 Neo, adaptation 1, tested by @MalcolmBridg_1797745 : This will be the model files “KobraNeo2Box[Left,Right].stl”. This solution shortens the rails that go into the Aluminium Profile, to allow you positioning the tray further outside to avoid the area where the sensor is. This should work, as this is the same change that @MalcolmBridg_1797745 made (manually) to his print of the tray (see Makes&Comments Section). Kobra 2 Neo, adaptation 2: Additionally there is a (no more experimental!) V2 version of the Kobra 2 Neo tray ("KobraNeo2BoxV2[Left,Right].stl") which keeps the rails as they are, but takes away from the wall in the area where the sensor should be. (It is not yet clear to me how much “headspace” this sensor needs, so this is therefore experimental). This model has been successfully tested by @spence1322_2597620 , thanks again for the feedback! Kobra Neo: This are the models “KobraNeoBox[Left,Right].stl” and they work for the Kobra Neo only . Those are the original files. All further information about Print Orientation should apply the same for all models, but have only be tested for the original model (but I do not see any reason this should not work for all of them). Print Orientation This model prints fine without support if you put it in an upright position, like this: 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Currently I have oriented all model files to load in this position, so you should be able to print them as they are without further ado.
