Description

This is a box insert for Armello Board Game: Collector's Edition. A few notes: First and foremost, I knew that I wanted a game insert to make setup and teardown quicker, be able to store vertically, and hold at least the sleeved cards of the deckbuilder cards. Sleeving all the cards was not something I wanted to do, so I didn't design around that. I also knew that storing the collectors edition dice trays in the main box was not going to happen, so I didn't attempt to do so. I needed a better solution for figure storage as well, as the original packaging was extremely tight. I also wanted all of a character's components together so a player just takes the character box. Or if a character is an NPC for the game, everything's right there. Now for notes on the files: Armello Castle Lid is a bit of a misnomer. This part should be glued to the bottom of the 3D castle, for 2 reasons. 1: to better hold the castle together. 2: to provide a lid for the tokens stored below the castle in the Castle Storage tray. The Deckbuilding Cards Tray is designed to fit sleeved cards, for the Treasure, Wound, Amulet and Market decks. Each Character Tray (both Other and Sana) are designed to hold all components for each character, with sleeved cards. This includes the AI cards for each character as well. Sana's figure is larger than the other characters, so that tray was altered to accommodate that. Other than that, all Character trays are the same. I made a slot in the Castle Storage Tray to hold the Decree cards. The other decks of cards will fit in the Cards trays (note, print two of those, and 4 of the Cards Lids). These were NOT designed to fit sleeved cards, as I was only interested in sleeving the deckbuilding cards. ALSO: the Castle Storage Tray was adjusted after I printed the one pictured, so it's slightly different, and the adjustments were not tested. The one pictured has a couple issues: 1: the dawn/dusk standee slot was too short. Mine fits because I cut the standee. 2: The castle is VERY tight in mine, and may become damaged over time. The file here has a larger slot for the castle, but cuts into the King slot. I believe the King figure will still fit, but I did not print out another storage tray to verify. 3: the slot for the Decree Cards shrank a little due to the larger Castle Slot. Still plenty of space for unsleeved decree cards. Finally, this does have some lid lift. Due to how I designed the Deckbuilding Card Storage, all the trays were adjusted to fit to the brim of the box. This does unfortunately leave the playing board and rulebook to be left above the brim, causing lid lift.
