Description
Artemis II Rocket – Simple Display Model This is a simple 3D printable model of the Artemis II rocket that I designed in SketchUp . The model was created mainly for visual accuracy rather than exact real-world scale, so the proportions are approximate and meant for display. Artemis II is NASA’s planned mission to send astronauts around the Moon as part of the Artemis program , which aims to return humans to the lunar surface and eventually prepare for future missions to Mars. The rocket used for the mission is the Space Launch System (SLS) , NASA’s most powerful rocket, designed to carry the Orion spacecraft and crew beyond Earth orbit. Print details: Printed on Ender 3 Pro Neo Height: 150 mm (original scale) Print time: ~2 hours Used supports and a raft with 4 mm margin No additional settings or modifications were required The model printed successfully on my machine without issues and should be fairly easy to print on most FDM printers. Feel free to scale the model up or down depending on your printer size or desired display height. If you print it, I’d love to see your makes!
