Description
This can be used to hold a mobile-phone stand for using AstroHopper. AstroHopper ( https://artyom-beilis.github.io/astrohopper.html) needs the mobile phone to be parallel to the telescope. The holes are suited for 13mm rod/tube. I took the test print from the original Hadley by @Maff and added the stand. ½” rod/tube should also work fine. The size of the screw/nut, that holds the stand to the rod, I have tested with is 5/32”. 3/16” can be a tight fit. Phone-stand screw size is ¼” diameter (#14). I believe this is a common size for tripod mounts. The phone mount/holder I’m using is similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZ79DNSC/ There is enough clearance between the base and the rod to fit a screw with any head size. Recommended print settings: 0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height.
AI Analysis: This is a stand designed for mounting a telescope, specifically the Hadley Telescope. The stand features a sturdy frame with adjustable height and stability, allowing for precise alignment of the telescope's optical components. It includes a mounting mechanism to securely hold the telescope in place, making it suitable for astronomical observations.
