Description
This is a 50-key keyboard using ZMK firmware. The required components are a nice!nano board, 50 diodes, Kailh Choc V2 switches,200mah battery, pair of 5mm × 5mm × 6mm tactile switches, as well as appropriate insulated wiring materials and a soldering iron. The key switches use a 17 mm pitch, so standard keycaps will not fit. I originally use a Dactyl Manuform keyboard, but I built this as a portable keyboard for use outside. The design concept focuses on being compact and durable, supporting Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and allowing effective thumb usage similar to the Dactyl Manuform. Additionally, the isolated keys at the lower ends on both the left and right sides are designed to be pressed not with the fingers, but with the base of the pinky finger, and are used for layer switching. The firmware is available at the link below. This firmware features a unique key layout optimized for Japanese romaji input. You can fork the repository and modify the keymap to suit your preferred layout. https://github.com/4beDesign/avey_p/tree/main
