Description
Mount for replacing the fan on the rear panel of Creative K1 series printers with a more common 80x80x25 mm version. An upgrade for the Creality K1 printer series. The new mount requires cutting out a section of the case and installing a new fan mounting frame, measuring 80x80x25mm. For easy fan installation, I used common anti-vibration mounts, but you can use regular screws if desired. To mark the cutting area, it's easiest to place a clamping bar against the back panel. Cutting the honeycomb ribs from the back panel is most easily done with a standard wood chisel. There are two options for each part. Part 1 (mounting frame): Option 1 - involves tightening the rear frame directly into the plastic with screws, without using threaded bushings (fused-in); Option 2 - involves tightening the rear frame with screws into threaded bushings (fused-in), measuring M3xL6.3xOD4.6; Part 2 (clamping plate): Option 1 - involves only mounting the fan, without using an air filter; Option 2 - involves mounting the fan, including a space for using the Creality K1 Max air filter. Assembly requirements: DIN7991M3*10mm screws: 6 pcs.; Threaded bushings (fused-in) M3xL6.3xOD4.6: 6 pcs. (Optional); Creality K1 Max Carbon Filter (HEPA13 Blurolls): 1 pc (Optional).
