Description
I bought this webcam off Amazon for watching my 3D printer: B08VJ25PL1 The Internet given the camera's USB ID (32e6:9221) says the vendor is “icSpring”. The stand it's embedded in comes with a threaded camera screw hole, but I didn't like the idea of mounting all that additional plastic on top of the articulating arms. So I made this. Printing Prints without support, in this unnatural orientation: 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Assembly To attach the camera, you'll need to disassemble the stand the camera comes with. Both flat plasticy sections come with 4 screws under the felt. The camera is held on a plastic part with a hole and fastened to it via a screw, and the joint goes through the hole in a sphere-shaped part. Disassemble that, take out the screw and the little round plasticky part. Take this 3D-printed mount and reassemble the camera housing+plasticy roundy thingy+screw inside the hollow ball, analogously to how it's used in the factory-default stand.
