Beefy Bed Scraper

One of the first things I created when I got my AnkerMake M5C was the HexScraper. I liked how thick it was, but its plastic edge did not hold up. I found the orange plastic blades and printed the Plastic Scraper Blade Hex Holder, but it was smaller and more flimsy than the HexScraper. So, I did a mash-up! After printing I had to file the small piece that goes in the hold of the blade. It's probably best to print on one edge with a brim but I printed mine flat so that I could layer the colors. BIG NOTE!!… BE SURE TO USE IT WITH THE CORRECT ("BEEFY") SIDE UP. See the close-up photo. If you try to scrape with it upside down, the blade will pop off with very little force. If you use it correctly, you can apply ample pressure for scraping. This is also great for removing decals and other gunk from surfaces where using a metal blade may damage the surface. Finally - yes, the scraper blades came with those blue blade holders (which are great) but I had to print my own - just because I could. :)
