Connect a JST extension cable to the unused fan port on the motherboard, then connect the fan to that extension (for easy removal): https://github.com/Guilouz/Creality-K1-and-K1-Max/wiki/Boards-Layout To hold the filter, from the other side of the case make a stack 10x4mm magnets using the hexagon holders Add this as a 4th pin in printer.cfg (need root): [output_pin fan4] pin: PA0 pwm: True cycle_time: 0.0100 hardware_pwm: false value: 0.00 scale: 255 shutdown_value: 0.0 and in the slicer add custom gcode (under Filament for ABS / ASA): SET_PIN PIN=fan4 VALUE=255 Now to see if it actually stays in place given how much this machine shakes.
