Description
I really liked the original BentoBox idea, but after building one I wanted something with better airflow and less noise. The original 40 mm fan setup worked, but it was louder than I wanted and did not perform as well as I hoped. So I created my own larger remix that uses an 80 mm fan and a bigger filter area. This version is designed around the Arctic P8 Max, which has strong static pressure and works well when air has to pass through HEPA and carbon filter media. With the larger fan and increased filter surface, this design gives better suction and quieter operation in my testing. The model uses a stacked layout with separate fan, carbon, and HEPA sections. It is also shaped to sit neatly on the back of the printer. I also added support for foam or rubber inserts/gummies to help isolate vibration of fan. Features: 80 mm fan design larger HEPA and carbon filter area improved airflow compared to smaller fan versions lower noise during operation compact vertical layout vibration damping option with soft inserts easy-to-understand modular construction This is a remix inspired by the original BentoBox concept but resized and redesigned to better match what I wanted from a printer enclosure filter.
