EDIT: I now recommend printing a Nevermore Mini instead of a BentoBox. I used a Delta FFB0424VHN 4028 fan from Digikey . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I remixed the BentoBox v2 for my Voron Trident 300 with these changes: Added m3 screw holes on the side of the BentoBox to position it further back on the 2020 extrusion. Added a spacer for the inverted electronics mod. Resized the magnet holes to fit the 5mm x 1.5mm magnets I had on hand (magnet holes are 5.1mm x 1.6mm). I put the cable port on the right and added a channel for the cables. The hepa filter section is shorter and resized to fit the filters linked below. It also goes after the carbon to capture carbon dust from the carbon pellets. Removed the fan-shaped cutouts on the carbon section since it now goes before the hepa filter. The voronoi lid and the hepa section have been modified so that the hepa and carbon sections are interchangeable in terms of order. In the original model, those sections are not interchangeable. I put two of these on the left side of my Trident. One should fit on the rear right of a Trident 300. You may want to mirror the base if you're putting it on the right side of bed (to put the cable port on the left). Purchased components: 5x2mm Magnets (pretty sure these should be 1.5mm high - let me know if otherwise) Activated Carbon Pellets (acid-free, bituminous coal) . This carbon is roughly 50% as effective as nevermore carbon, but 30% of the price. GDStime GDA4020 ball bearing fans Fan Splitter / PCB Extension (I resized the LDO PCB spacer to fit this. See bentobox_fan_pcb_extension_spacer.stl. Note that this is much wider than the LDO fan pcb, so it won't fit on the extrusion under the deck panel. I stuck this to the bottom panel with some VHB tape) JST-XH 2-pin fan extension cables (I used 4 of them to extend the fan cables, and changed one to be male to male to connect from an Octopus fan port to the fan splitter) HEPA Filters Material: ABS Infill: 15% I used these SuperSlicer settings for the net_infill: Bottom solid layers : 0 Only one perimeter on Top surfaces : unchecked Perimeters count : 5 Top solid layers : 0 Fill angle : 45 (stl also oriented at 45°) Fill density : 28% Sparse fill pattern : Honeycomb
