Description

This extension does NOT add capacity to the Magazine Designed a Magazine extension for the Beretta 80X to allow my large hands a better, more controlled grip while at the range. This design does not extend the magazine's capacity, it simply extends the grip. It is light and locks into the spring plate just like the manufactured base plate. Supports are needed Filament used was ESun PLA+ black If your printer has the ability I recommend to enable 'ironing' on the top surfaces. To assemble: Ensure you remove any support material left in the retaining slot. It's not much but it will cause the print to split if you force the magazine retaining tabs into it. Also remove any supports from the hollow base Remove the existing base plate from the magazine by depressing the retaining bit on the spring base thru the hole in the bottom of the base plate and sliding it off. Remove the spring and follower. SLOWLY work the magazine base retaining tabs into the slot of the extension, a little back and forth wiggling to assist it. Once fitted in the base plate should side on and off with slight pressure. Remove the base extension, re-insert the follower and spring paying attention to the alignment of both. While holding the spring plate below the base of the magazine slide the extension onto the base, the spring base will click into the hole on the extension just like the manufactured base plate If you split the print, as I did a few times, print another, ensure you clean slots and take time to perform the initial fitting
