Description
Really like the original model by wbu, but like a lot of other people I have a lot of utensils that are too wide to sit in the slots, and too unstable if I put them in sideways. So I decided to simply remove one of the prongs to turn two slots into one larger slot. However, after printing that version I ended up with more ideas for changes. So I made this remixed version with all the end results. Changes: Added a wider slot for wider utensils, by removing one of the prongs. Changed the "back" of it to also have a drip tray similar to the front. Reduced bottom thickness to save material and printing time(3.5mm→1.8mm). Printing: Nothing special. Maybe use 3 Perimeters and an extra top layer for better waterproofing. I used "Variable layer height" with a base of 0.15. Consider printing them in PETG, ABS, ASA or similarly high temperature resistant filament at 100% infill, so it can withstand washing in hot water or dishwasher. *Ignore the change in glossiness on the print in the images. I think I ran the filament a bit too hot and it got a bit “glassy” on the smaller perimeters.
