Description
With this bottle cutter you can create strips to make your PET1 filaments. The cutting is performed by a modeling hobby scalpel blade, as shown in the picture. The necessary materials are: M10 threaded rod M10 hex nut two 10-cent euro coins 6 M3 hex nuts 6 M3 screws that should have an approximate length of 10mm plus the height of the spacer (8mm spacer --> 18mm screws) It's recommended to glue the M10 nut into its housing. It's also advisable to secure the bottle cutter to a small wooden board with M3 or M3.5 screws and to use the BottleWeight on the bottle neck while cutting (I filled mine with sand and sealed it with silicone glue). You can use also an empty spool with some extra weight. I've added spacers of various sizes, but if you want to create them yourselves, simply extrude the base and change the number. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media
