Cable Tie / Tie Organiser Reusable Tidy PETG/TPU 40-205mm Sizes

01 - Summary A simple reusable tie fastener to organise cables and other long objects. It features 1-12 holes with lengths 40-205mm for great versatility. Unlike other cable ties, this puts ease of use first, with a simple fastening and unfastening mechanism. Reinforced “T” part helps ensure it doesn't come loose, while the top rounded edge ensures it's easy to slot through the hole. Update coming sooon with even more sizes! 02 - Materials Brief info with tested materials TPU (Highly reccomended) PETG (Reccomended if TPU isnt available to use) PLA (Not reccomended, use only if PETG or TPU isnt available to use) + Works best overall + Very durable (use the correct "TPU version" for this material) + Stays flexible over time and isnt prone to cracking or snapping - Slightly longer print time due to increased height (extra durability) + Fast print time + Decent durability for short time use/uses where there is less ware on the cable tie - Can be prone to cracking over time - "T" hook could snap off if under stress + Easiest to print - Extremely prone to breaking - Doesnt last long at all - Not very flexible Detailed info Works best in TPU or PETG, however if you decide to print in PLA just beware that it could become brittle over time, so please use TPU for the best durability, or PETG for quick printing (as the model takes up 2x less material than the TPU version). If you plan on using TPU, please use the models found in the ‘TPU Version’ folder as thier height is 2x more to make it more suitable. If you find this isnt enough you can always change it in the slicer, however in my testing (with TPU for AMS 68D shore hardness) this is most suitable accross all TPU types. 03 - Size Guide Use this for an approximate idea as to what cable tie size you should print for different cable lengths. For reference the length in the photo is 115mm, with a 1m usb c phone cable. ~1m phone cable = 85mm-115mm ~2m phone cable = 115mm-145mm ~3m phone cable = 145mm-175mm ~1m HDMI cable = 130mm-160mm ~2m HDMI cable = 160mm-190mm 04 - Print Settings Layer height: 0.2mm Wall loops: As many as possible No build plate adhesion needed, if print isn't adhering to bed, increase bed temp and lower print speed. 0.72g (TPU version), 0.35g (PETG/PLA version) 05 - Winnie's usage instructions Thread the “T” part around the one width of the wire into the first slot Use the cable tie like normal, wrapping it round the entire cable and into the slot This should ensure a strong connection, and the cable tie wont fall off when the cable is unwrapped. 06 - Original work See original model by Winnie for more details and tips on tying the cable tie. https://www.printables.com/model/1164318-reusable-cable-tie-zip-tie-multiple-sizes
