Cape attachment.

I made this so that you can slip a piece of fabric between the two "clips" and then it will (hopefully) stay there. If this doesn't work for you, tell me, please. I will always try to improve it if I need to and I will be grateful for any advice. I know this may look ugly and stuff, this is because I am NOT a professional, not even close.
