Description
I liked the model by Chris, but I wanted it parametric so I could make one for some huge Go Fish cards my kids have. Getting from the STEP file provided by Chris (which is much better than STL, thanks Chris!) to a parametric model was not as easy as I anticipated, so I wanted to share it for others who may want the same thing in the future. For reference, the included UNO Junior deck seems to be a standard UNO size but it's half the height of Chris' model. If you're unable to or don't want to bother with the parametric model and would rather just request a specific size, feel free to drop a comment and I will try to get it uploaded to the files section promptly. I chose OnShape for this, since it's easiest to share and editable in a browser (which everyone will have), albeit you will need to make a free OnShape account. The parametric model can be found here . If you use the parametric model, please download the STL from the files of section. Otherwise, I'll end up with no downloads in spite of people getting use out of the model. First, in order to change the parameters you must make a copy of the document. The main parameters you might like to change are the deck size and (additional) clearance, these are contained in the “Configuration” tab in the bottom left. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Double clicking on a value and changing it will update the value used by the model. There are some minimum and maximum values below and above which the model might not generate correctly, but it should work well for any cards you can hold in your hand. Specifically, deck_length + clearance_xy ≤ 52 deck_width + clearance_xy ≤ 52 To export your customized model, click the second tab 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Then select one or both pieces (you can split to objects in PrusaSlicer after the fact, so I usually export both together), right click, and export. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media I use the following export settings, which are probably the default: 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Share your makes, :)
AI Analysis: This object is a card game holder designed for organizing and storing playing cards. It features a rectangular shape with a textured surface and a clear plastic cover that allows visibility of the cards inside. The holder is intended for use with card games, providing a secure and convenient way to store and transport cards. Notable features include its sturdy construction and the colorful design on the front, which includes the text 'Go Fish' and 'UNO' on the side.
