Cascade Wallet V2 (Assemble after printing)

An assemble after printing version of the print-in-place Cascade Wallet v2, to allow for multi color or multi material components. Like the original, the shell is printed upright The handle can be printed on end or on edge with supports for the cross extrusion. Button cap and fan require no supports The cross cutout in the fan part is deliberately tight. I file the interior corners (which tend to become rounded) slightly to get a good press fit. Fan is slightly wider to reduce space between shell and fan. Shell has slightly reduced hole diameter for the lever to reduce play in X/Y directions, and fixed minor geometry issue related to mesh editing. Both of these changes are designed to reduce part “rattling", since tolerances can be tighter for assembled parts than for print in place.
