This enclosure is designed to house the open-source project “Gas Leakage Detector using Arduino” by rinme , available on Arduino Project Hub: https://projecthub.arduino.cc/rinme/gas-leakage-detector-using-arduino-05c0c9 Original license: CC BY-SA . The case consists of two parts : main body and lid. It is intended to accommodate all the components required for gas leak detection in domestic or lab environments. ⚙️ Supported Components Arduino UNO Mini breadboard 9V battery 9V battery plug MQ5 or MQ135 gas sensor Piezo buzzer 5 mm LED with panel mount 📐 Technical Specifications Wall thickness: 2 mm Structure: two-part enclosure (case + lid) Internal layout: dedicated slots for each component Front panel: Hole for 5 mm LED Acoustic grille for buzzer Opening for gas sensor Mounting: designed to keep components stable during use and handling 🖨️ Printing Recommendations Technology: FDM Material: PLA or PETG Layer height: 0.2 mm Infill: 20–30% Perimeters: 2–3 walls recommended Supports: Required for the lid and some internal features of the case Orientation: Case: print with the base on the build plate Lid: print flat, top side up 📦 Additional Notes This project is evolving : future updates may improve assembly, internal cable routing, and compatibility with other gas sensors.
