Description

I really liked this case design, however I wanted SD card cutout, heatset inserts and a way to mount it to a 2020 extrusion to use as a Klipper host. As an amateur at 3d modelling, my method of choice is to chop things up in the slicer and export as an STL. It's not "proper" modelling, but it gets the job done quite well! I used M3x6mm heatset inserts, but it would work with shorter ones (same as the original by Metatron2). I printed this in Carbon fiber PETG on a heavily modified Ender 3 v2 - linear rails, high-flow ceramic heater, dual synced Z, HMG7 dual 5015 blower, Klipper with resonance and bed mesh compensation applied. This printer produces excellent dimensional accuracy to the point where post processing is barely necessary.
