Centauri Carbon Filler Adapter

This model adapts the spool-holder on the original Centauri Carbon to be compatible with the Filler spool holder. Print orientation is correct , and this model is intended to be printed with supports everywhere . There is a little bit of tolerance built into the model itself, so even if your supports don't come off cleanly, you should still have a good snug fit. I have always been a big fan of the Filler , so much that I had more than one lying around from previous printers. I was a bit surprised to find that several people had gone and made Filler clones for the Centauri Carbon instead of simply making an adapter. It speaks to the efficacy of the design really, but more importantly, they are not exactly compatible. Do you absolutely need a low-friction spool holder for the Centauri Carbon? No, but if you already have some made, it can't hurt. The bottom portion is extended down to provide additional support for the roller-holder.
