Description

Notes: I can not recommend PLA for this. It started deforming during torture testing with a drill. Every surface that moves and touches another surface should be greased. The differential cover should go towards the back of the car. The axle shafts differ slightly. The rear one is marked on the end to tell them apart. There should be no play between the axle shafts and the diff housing. The differential should run smooth without stuttering after turning it a few times by hand. This also removes the need to print the gears with supports. The attached images explain the assembly. BOM: 1x M3 18mm pin, threaded rod or bolt cut to length 2x M3 16mm countersunk screw 2x M3 8mm countersunk screw (20mm for optional axle shaft) Print Settings: Filament: PETG Layer Height: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Supports: no "Happy printing, and God bless, my friend." — Bob Ross
