Description

Have a nice day, everyone! Replacing the original front sprocket cover is quite a popular tuning; nevertheless, I didn't find a particular set especially for the MTX, but found many options for the KTM 790/890 and others. The front sprocket cover, with no surprise, is 100% compatible with the MTX, but without the original sprocket cover you leave the Gear Position Sensor (GPS) unprotected. Almost all sprocket covers are supplied with GPS covers, but mostly without spacers and oversized bolts. Because of the plastic tie, you need to raise GPS cover at least by 4.5 mm. You can achieve it with an M6 hex nut or otherwise use my spacer. If you ordered a sprocket cover without a GPS cover, use one designed by me. To mount the cover, regardless of its type, you need 2 M5x20 bolts and washers. P.S: I printed both parts from PETG and will test them during the current season. If you are concerned about the PETG melting point, you can use temperature-resistant filaments like PA-GF
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical part from a motorcycle engine, specifically a gear position sensor cover and spacer assembly. It is designed to protect and position the gear sensor within the motorcycle's transmission system. The component features precise engineering to ensure proper alignment and function of the sensor, which is essential for monitoring gear positions during operation.
