Description
Connects the legs of the Next Level Racing wheel stand base to my living room chair to keep the chair from moving backward under heavy braking, and to keep the wheel stand down. This model is designed only to accommodate this exact chair, which has legs 24 7/8" apart center-on-center. This is unlikely to work for any other chairs. The chair legs have plastic scratch protecting pads on the bottom that fit into the recesses of the adapter. I included three recesses to have some flexibility in forward/back positioning for different people. The square cutout fits around the bottom of the front legs. The leveling pads need to be removed and screwed back on after the bracket is fit in place. This holds the bracket well enough, but could be better. The bottom of this print is flat, it doesn't necessarily help with sliding. This part should be printed twice, once mirrored to make the right-hand version. In my first iteration, I tried having using the threads on the sides of the wheel stand legs as the attachment point by extruding a section upward, but this didn't print well for me and I landed on this flat design. This bracket sticks out significantly when the wheel stand is folded, can make it a bit awkward to move around.
