Description

I changed shapes to enclosed cubes, more rounded base, 7 types of pieces, case for game pieces that is easy to personalize (I added names to the red half of the cover) and uses game base as part of the lid. I added 2 D8 dice because 1 always gets lost. I made 6X of each shape, 5 would probably be plenty. Case for parts can be resized freely in Z axis if you print more or less pieces. I have done my best to clearly label all parts so colors match etc. for the creatively challenged: the filaments I used were: MANY. Use whatever you have, but be certain the shape on the dice matches or you will have large arguments. I have included instructions which encourage creative variations. If you find the base too “tipsy” for you, a couple squares of duct tape or similar on the bottom of the base equidistant from the center should fix you up. I enjoyed making (3!!) of these and they have been more than well received. everyone likes them. note: as designed almost 1 KG of filament. I used black magic marker to color the “back” side of the shapes to keep confusion to a minimum. I considered printing the S/Z and J/L shaped as 2 color/ reverse but decided this might be more complicated. I used a light spray of matte poly on the marker side to keep it from rubbing off. NOTE: I don't drink, however you may use this game as you wish be it known that I warned you and am not responsible for hangovers. And please: show some class and rinse any alcoholic or biological fluids from the game pieces before your kids play while you are hung over in bed. I used TINKERCAD because it was perfect for this project. 20mmX20mm cubes with a 1mm radius, how easy could it be? I really did enjoy making this game, and people love playing it. the presentation of this large cube is impressive and sparks curiosity. I used PLA, .2 layer, 2 walls, 5 bottom 5 top and 15% crosshatch infill (My new favorite, sorry gyroid). I made certain that non symmetrical shapes were printed face down because who wants to cover the nice side with marker?
