Description

I modeled the row houses featured on the 2006 Starbucks advent calendar (last image). These models are roughly the same size as the picture on the calendar. To create the models follow the steps below: Note 1: There are included fully assembled STLs of all the buildings but I recommend printing the parts individually and gluing them together to get a better finish on the models. Note 2: the buildings are shown in the image from left to right as Building 1, Building 2, Building 3, and Building 4. Building 1: Print the base, I recommend 0.3 mm layer height and no supports Print the accessories, I recommend 0.2 mm layer height and printing the top vent upside down with supports on build plate only Superglue the accessories onto the front of the base Building 2: Print the base-top upside down, I recommend 0.2 mm layer height and supports on build plate only Print the base-bottom upside down, I recommend 0.2 mm layer height and supports on build plate only Print the accessories, I recommend 0.2 mm layer height and printing the top vent upside down with supports on build plate only Superglue the base top to the base bottom Superglue the accessories onto the front of the base Note for Building 2: the trim on the base bottom sides has been shortened so it can be glued on easily without sanding, but the unshortened version is included in SideTrim2.STL file. Building 3: Print the base upside down, I recommend 0.3 mm layer height and no supports Print the accessories, I recommend 0.2 mm layer height and printing the lights face up with supports on build plate only Superglue the accessories onto the front of the base Building 4: Print the base upside down, I recommend 0.2 mm layer height. I also recommend adjusting the support overhand threshold to 65 so supports are added to the top roof to prevent the model from coming off the build plate while printing Print the accessories, I recommend 0.2 mm layer height Superglue the accessories onto the front of the base Note for Building 4: the left side trim on the right smaller section of the building has been shortened at the top so it can be glued on easily without sanding, but the unshortened version is included in SideTrimLeft4.STL file. The models were printed on an Anycubic Mega Zero 2.0 with a 0.4 mm nozzle in HATCHBOX PLA filament.
AI Analysis: This is a set of miniature row houses designed for decorative purposes. Each house features detailed architectural elements like windows, doors, and chimneys. The white color and intricate details make them suitable for holiday displays or miniature dioramas.
