Clerty - Mechanical Dishwasher Sign

This is the dishwasher indicator I've had stuck to my dishwasher for the past few months. I saw that there was a mechanical marvels contest going on and figured now is as good a time as ever to publish the work! If you ever dreamed of having a chunky mess of exposed gearing attached to your dishwasher I would consider speaking with a professional on the nature of that interest, but living with this is your home may provide some suitable analogue. The design is quite simple and easy to print, I fit it all on one very quick build. I recommend printing the “sign” model letters side down but depending on how well your printer handles bridging it might be better vertically with supports. Print height also shouldn't be a major factor, I used a draft profile and haven't had any complaints. The main body was held in place with a small dab of super glue and was mounted with some foam mounting tape. I also painted the lettering, but a m600 color swap would definitely add some pop to the design! If there's interest I can revise the design to better suit your needs, I'll admit it stands a little proud off the dishwasher door as-is.
