Description

This is my Collapsible Dice Tower. It collapses to half a page size (200mm x 150mm), 12mm thick. For gaming no assembly, no magnets no clips are needed to make it ready to go. Some materials are needed additionally to the files provided here: Filament 1.75mm works the same as the welding filler rods. It's a slightly bit more snug and not as smooth as the filler rods, but still works great. If your print is not as precise, the filler rods will work better for you, test how good filament fits on the hinges, they still need to go smoothly. Welding filler rods 1.6mm (I used stainless steel, TIG welding rods not Stickwelding) 1x 150mm (front hinge) 5x 190mm (sides and back hinges) 9x 30mm (board hinges) If you want to use setscrews, I used M2.3x3 or M2.5x3, but hotglue or printpen will work as well. For lining the inside pockets, they're 2mm deep. So every material not thicker than 2mm is good for this. I recommend EVA foam. Alternatively you can print TPU inserts: https://www.printables.com/model/741109-printable-inserts-for-wuerfels-collapsible-dice-to Check out the instruction video on how to assemble it. There is also an add-on for this tower to make this into a nice book with a fence to hold your dice: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4409873 And I found nice trays in a similar style here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/foldable-dice-tray-print-in-place https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-foldable-dice-tray-100768 Update 1: Uploaded pre oriented parts for easier printing. The boards come in two ways, one who needs and one without supports. If your bridging is good you can print the support needing version also without. The upright version might need a brim. But these are the smallest parts so you can test print them. Disclaimer: The dice in the pictures are my own creation, if you're interested in that, check out my Instagram profile and contact me there. Same for print on demand. I don't have a shop and do commissions and print on demand as my time allows.
